New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison is listed as doubtful for the team's AFC Championship Game appearance against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Harrison has already missed both of the Patriots' previous playoff games with a knee injury. Harrison suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee after being blocked low by Tennessee's Bobby Wade in the Pats' regular season finale. .

India boat sinks, 60 feared dead
HYDERABAD, India (Reuters) -- More than 60 people returning home from a Hindu festival in southern India were feared drowned after their overcrowded boat capsized and sank while crossing a river, police said on Friday. The accident occurred on Thursday on the Krishna river in Mehboobnagar district of Andhra Pradesh state, 180 km (110 miles) southwest of the state capital, Hyderabad. District police chief K. Srinivas Reddy said 66 people, including 36 women and children, were missing and feared drowned. Divers and helicopters were scouring the river for bodies. Reddy said the boat was crowded with more than 70 people when it sank 100 meters (330 ft) from the bank in deep water. "So far we have recovered the bodies of 13 people including a woman and two children," he added.
School Kids Warn About Dangers Of Radon
Washington, D.C. - Six middle school children received kudos from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the acting U.S. Surgeon General for their efforts raise awareness on radon. Radon, an invisible radioactive gas, causes lung cancer and kills about 20,000 Americans each year. The only way to know if your home contains high radon levels is to test for it. The poster contest, for children ages 9 - 14, is run by the National Safety Council and co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and EPA. This year's contest had more than 700 entries from children in 28 states, three Tribal Nations and two U.S. Territories. This year's winners include two children from Alabama, two from New York, one from Pennsylvania, and one from Utah. January is National Radon Action Month.
